Musical frissons: movie soundtracks.

I'm currently having my worst (or more like the BEST) case of musical frissons going on. The artist, or the composer who caused all this is quite a surprise also to myself: Alan Silvestri.

Silvestri is known for composing major hit films such as Back To the Future, Forrest Gump and Cast Away. He has also composed marvelous melodies to the most awesome Marvel films: Captain America: The First Avenger and the One and Only, THE AVENGERS. There are no words to describe how happy I was when my bro told me about this yesterday! The theme music in the end credits is so gorgeous and beautiful and the music throughout the film is absolutely perfect. It was love at first listening. ♥

I created a Spotify playlist for all of the movie soundtracks. I also added the soundtracks of Thor and both Iron Man films. Enjoy!

It's awesome to put on notice whenever the tune is playing in the background in the movie and how the song titles are named after the scenes when they're being played. My personal favorites at the moment are The Avengers, A Promise, Helicarrier, Red Ledger and Subjugation.

Tuli fiilis kirjoittaa taas pitkästä aikaa englanniksi, joten kirjoitin. Alan Silvestri on tehnyt loistavaa työtä säveltäessään The Avengersin soundtrackia. Mää rakastuin ensikuuntelulla lopputekstien melodiaan ja joihinkin tiettyihin yksityiskohtiin. On myös jännä huomata, kuinka Silvestri on saanut vangittua sävelmiinsä kuhunkin kohtaukseen sopivan tunnelman. Esimerkiksi Red Ledgerissä suurin osa kohtauksesta pyörii Lokin ja Natasha Romanoffin keskustelun ympärillä. Kun Loki uhkailee Romanoffia, myös musiikin tunnelma on hyvin ahdistava ja painostava.
